This drama is remake of 2015 movie “The Beauty Inside“ with certain major elements of the original story changed.

It’s about the love story of Han Se Kye (Seo Hyun Jin), an A-list actress who must spend one week out of each month living in someone else’s body. Meanwhile, Seo Do Jae (Lee Min Ki) is a man who suffers from prosopagnosia which suffers from an inability to recognize faces.

The male lead with that dead-pan face doesn’t invoke warmth nor is he likely to convince me when eventually he speaks to her with endearment. The actor’s demeanour is all wrong for a romantic drama. It’s just way too much cold. I mean even when he smiles his face is still dead-pan for heaven sakes.

They should have used a different leading man for our Seo Hyun Jin. The chemistry is just not there with these two at 7 episodes in. But the actor isn’t wholly to blame, I think the male character lacks depth anyway . . . too contrived for my taste. But I love the feeling in the OST, it’s the 70’s FM morning radio sound.
